jim - for many of the poses/compositions in this story, especially this one, i was trying for an almost hieroglyphic position, as opposed to a more naturalistic one. avi - unfortunately, about 90% of the internet would disagree with you. although you might notice that the coloring changes substantially through the story, particularly between acts (pages 1-4, 5-8, 9-12). in fact, tonally the stories shift a lot from act to act as well. i'll probably blab about that more in the next week, when i have some time to finally catch up on the annotations for the story.
